Playtime Anytime- a new brand positioning for Golden Tulip chain of Hotels, Emmanuel Ollier

In the global scenario China is positioning itself as a strong economic power. Over the years the country has developed at a very fast pace, with Shanghai been developed as a financial capital of the country.

The city has a great infrastructure for the business fraternity from across the globe. It is moving very fast to attract the travel trade business as well. Shanghai is considered as the world’s most populous city and everyday thousands of people from all corners of the world travel here.

In order to cater the great influx of people, the city and indeed the country has a great transportation system and definitely a large number of five- star hotel chains. Among all these hotel chains present in Shanghai, Golden Tulip has positioned itself with a new slogan “Playtime Anytime.” It is what the Golden Tulip management elevates as a promise to make the stay in the hotel more of an experience of work and play together.

The Hotel in Shanghai has certainly maintained the decorum and it provides all the luxuries it has promised to it clients. Golden Tulip as a global brand has a presence in about 40 countries with more than 180 properties and approximately 24,000 rooms.

This year the Golden Tulip is a Hotel partner with ITB china ( a leading tourism fair), taking place from 16-18 May 2018, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre, Shanghai, China.

In order to know more about the hotel and its brand value I had an interaction with Emmanuel Ollier, Vice President Franchise Services Asia Golden Tulip Brand. While sharing the development story of the brand he also talks about its partnership with the ITB China.
